Today was my first team run! It might be hard to believe, but I had a blast. I haven't done any kind of team running before. I like to be able to adjust my pace as I need, and assumed that I would not be able to do that if I was running with others. What I found instead was that A. I ran a good deal faster with the group than I do on my own. And B. I could still speed up and slow down as needed. I would just pop in and out of smaller groups. It was very motivating having others to run with. It felt like an event instead of a chore. Afterwards, we had a delicious brunch at the Granary. I am so lucky to be on such a great team!

It was memorable, to say the least. I want to thank all of the folks that braved the rain to cheer me on. John and the boys, my parents. This beautiful family The amazing volunteers at the mile 4 water stop. Mary for being at the waterstop with a hug for me. Jannine, Amy and Amy, Emily and Kevin, the drunk guys giving out beer at heartbreak hill, the drun...
